Kolosovo is a village in the Makarovsky rural district of the Sudoverfsky rural settlement of the Rybinsk district of the Yaroslavl region [1] .

The village is located on a suburban treeless plain, on the right bank of the Fominsky stream , south of its intersection with a local industrial railway line leading from Rybinsk station to the left bank of the Volga through the dam and locks of the Rybinsk reservoir . The village has one street oriented along a stream. A country road passing through Kolosovo leads through the village of Malinniki to the Rybinsk-Busting highway. In the opposite direction, the road goes to the villages of Artyushino and Savino , located on the nameless left tributary of the Fominsky stream. Opposite Kolosov on the left bank of the stream stands the village of Speshino [2] .
The village is indicated on the general survey plan of the Rybinsk district of the late XVIII century as the village of Kolosova .
As of January 1, 2007, there were 6 permanent residents in the village [3] . The village is served by post office 30 in Rybinsk. According to postal data, there are 14 houses in the village. The streets are not named [4] .
