It is located on the banks of the Lsta River , 25 km southwest of the district center, the village of Bezhanitsy , and 8 km west of the volost center, the village of Makhnovo .

The estimated population for 2000 was 14 residents [1] .
History
Until June 3, 2010, the village was part of the now abolished Makhnovsky volost .
