Liebig is a mountain in central Australia . Located just north of the southern tropic and about 300 kilometers west of Alice Springs . Height - 1267 meters. The highest peak of the McDonnell Range. The nearest large lake is the drying up Mackay . The name of the mountain peak in honor of the German scientist Justus von Liebig was given by the researcher Ernest Giles [2] .
