Biography
Samvel Danielyan was born on February 4, 1971 in Baku. He began to engage in Greco-Roman wrestling in 1978 under the leadership of Felix Avakov and Honored Coach of the USSR Eduard Kasparov. Since 1987, he was a member of the junior national team of the USSR, became the champion of the USSR, champion of Europe and the world in the age category up to 18 years. In 1989, due to the beginning of the Karabakh conflict, he moved to Krasnodar , and later on to Rostov-on-Don , where he continued to engage in the struggle under the leadership of Pyotr Chenibalayants. From 1992 to 2001, Samvel Danielyan was part of the Russian national team. In 1995 he won the world championship , and in 1999 - the European championship, was a participant of the Olympic Games in Atlanta (1996). In 2001, he completed his sports career. In March 2008, he moved to Moscow , working as a trainer at Sports School No. 64 at the Ivan Yarygin Wrestling Palace . [2]
