Russian Shogi Championship - a competition organized since 2003 by shogi clubs in Russia.
Traditionally, the Russian Shogi Championship is held according to the Swiss system (however, in 2004 and 2007, due to the small number of participants, it was held on a round-robin system ) and is open. The champion in Russia in position is declared the participant with the best result from Russia.
In the framework of the VII Championship of Russia, held at the SPSL (in the Passage of Popov ), on May 10, 2013 the first team match Belarus-Russia took place (7 rounds according to the Scheveningen system , 8 minutes of regular time without beating ). With a score of 36–13, the team of Belarus won [1] .
