History
In 1923, several peasants from the village of Vysokoye in the Zimnitskaya volost of the Zhizdrinsky district went to the Kremlin to receive an application for land. They were allocated 200 acres of forest for eternal use, which they uprooted under arable land.
7 families moved to these new places, most of which bore the name Novikovs. Therefore, the settlement was called Novikov village. And the official name was given to him after Lenin, or Leninsky, as a token of gratitude to the leader for his Decree on Land. [one]
In 1940, in the village Leninsky, there were 12 yards (according to the map of the General Staff).
