Content

History

The ancient city of Adraa (today Daria , Syria ) was located in the Roman province of Rocky Arabia and until the VI century was the center of the eponymous diocese of the Antiochian Patriarchate. The Diocese of Adraa was part of the Metropolitanate of Bosra . In the VI century, the diocese of Adraa ceased to exist due to the Arab invasion.

Since 1712, the Diocese of Adraa has been the titular diocese of the Roman Catholic Church.
