It is located in the south of the volost on the banks of the Lovat river (southwest of Lake Uritskoye ), 58 km south of the Velikie Luki district center and 15 km south of the Porechye volost center.

The population of the village for 2000 is 26 inhabitants [1] , for 2010 - 14 inhabitants.
History
Until 2005, the village was part of the now abolished Uritsky volost .
