Sack was the second oldest son of the Polish prince Heinrich the Pious and the Czech Queen Anne . When in April 1241 his father died at the Battle of Legnica , Meshko, by the standards of that time, was already an adult. Since in the chronicles he is mentioned with the title "Lubusz", it is assumed that Boleslav II Slingshot , the former eldest son of Henry, allocated him the land of Lubusz . However, already in 1242, Meshko died without having children.
