Biography
Born March 12, 1913 in the small town of Karada . In 1932 he served 18 months in prison for waving the Indian flag in Satar . In 1938 he graduated from the University of Mumbai , receiving a diploma of political scientist . In 1946 he was elected a member of the Legislative Assembly of Bombay . From May 1, 1960 to November 13, 1962, Yashvantrao was Chief Minister of the State of Maharashtra , from November 14, 1962 to November 14, 1966 - Minister of Defense of India , from June 27, 1974 to March 24, 1977 - Minister of Foreign Affairs of India . He died on November 25, 1984 in New Delhi .
