Dzhezdinsky district

Dzhezdinsky district ( Kaz. Zhezdі Audany ) is an administrative-territorial unit of the Karaganda and Dzhezkazgan regions that existed in 1963-1997. Center - Zhezdy village.

History

The Dzhezdinsky district was formed on January 2, 1963 as part of the Karaganda region on the territory of the abolished Kunrad and Chet regions . It included Algabas, Dzhangildinsky, Zhetykonursky, Kengirsky, Kirovsky, Kshitau, Pervomaisky, Sarysu, Tersakkansky and Ulutausky s / s.

From January 10 to August 24, 1963, the center of the village - the village of Dzhezdy - was not part of the district and was subordinate to the Dzhezkazgan City Council.

In 1965, the towns of Aktas and Karsakpay were transferred to the district from the Dzhezkazgan city council.

March 10, 1972 Algabassky, Zhetykonursky, Kengirsky and Sarysu s / s were transferred to Dzhezkazgan district . On March 22, Zhetykonursky and Sarysu s / s were returned to the Dzhezdinsky district, but at the same time the Kzitau, Pervomaisk, Tersakkansky and Ulutau s / s were transferred to the Dzhezkazgan district.

Since March 20, 1973, the Dzhezdinsky district was part of the Dzhezkazgan region.

In 1974, the Koskolsky s / s was formed.

Myybulaksky s / s was formed in 1983, and Zhetykonursky s / s was renamed Borsengirsky.

In 1989, the Kirov s / s was abolished.

In 1993, the district was renamed Zhezdinsky district , and its center - in Zhezdy.

May 3, 1997 Zhezdinsky district was transferred to the Karaganda region.

May 23, 1997 Zhezdinsky district was abolished. Moreover, the entire territory was transferred to the Ulytau region .
