Catherine Square

It was laid down on September 9, 1896 ^[57] , during the celebration of the 200th anniversary of the Kuban Cossack army . The monument was cast in bronze. The initial opening of the monument took place on May 6, 1907, dedicated to the birthday of Emperor Nicholas II. November 4, 1920 was dismantled by decision of the Kuban emergency revolutionary committee. The restored monument was reopened on September 8, 2006 in the same place.
