Novotitarovsky district was formed on December 28, 1934 as part of the Azov-Black Sea Territory. It consisted of 8 village councils: Andreevsky, Vorontsovsky, Dolinovsky, Karl Marx, Kopansky, Novovelichkovsky, Novotitarovsky and Staromyshastovsky.
September 13, 1937 Novotitarovsky district became part of the Krasnodar Territory.
On August 22, 1953, parts of the abolished areas were added to the Novotitarovsky district: Kalininsky s / s in the Pashkovsky district , as well as Elizavetinsky, Maryansky and Novomyshastovsky s / s in the Maryansky district .
On August 12, 1954, the Kalininsky s / s was transferred from Novotitarovsky District to the Kaganovichsky District of the city of Krasnodar .
On February 1, 1963, the whole Novotitarovsky district was annexed to the Dinsky district , except for the villages of Maryanskaya and Novomyshastovskaya, they (together with the entire Krasnoarmeysky district) moved to the Slavyansky district.
