Story
The idea of the film was born by Viktor Kosakovsky when he thought about what would happen if you draw a through axis from one point on the planet in the opposite direction? [3] In the film, several documentary plots are united by a geographical feature - exactly the opposite coordinates were taken. These are Argentina and China, New Zealand and Spain, Siberia and Chile, Hawaii and Botswana. At these opposite points on Earth, the director seeks and finds similarities in the relationships of people.

Quotes
- “I don’t see the point of just shooting, there must be some kind of idea, some kind of concept. Art is the same as science. Only the funds used are different. Art seeks answers to the same questions. How is the world invented? Why does everything happen anyway? Why were you born? ” [6]
Criticism
- Dmitry Tenth speaks of the film as follows: “To shoot this large-scale picture, the director went on an unusual trip around the world, visiting those few places that are on the globe exactly one against the other. Using spectacular mounting joints, Kosakovsky addresses the unusual topic of antipodes and creates a poem about a multipolar world ... [...] There is a solitary fisherman from an Argentine village, a fish merchant on a bustling Shanghai street, a lighthouse keeper on Cape Horn in Chile, and a sea officer on Lake Baikal. These stories are simultaneously similar and directly opposite to each other, and the film itself fascinates and touches at the same time ” [7] .
- Valery Kichin characterizes the picture as “a visual feast, breathtaking shooting and undisguised author's delight from what he saw” [8] .
