She graduated from the Normal School of Music , a student of Yvonne Lefebure , and also took lessons from Alfred Corto . In 1950 - 1965 taught in Paris, in 1965 - 1985 Professor of the Strasbourg Conservatory (among her students, in particular, Peter Andershevsky ).
Helene Boschi is considered one of the discoverers of the music of the Spanish Baroque composer Antonio Soler . On the other hand, the characteristic authors of her repertoire were East European composers of the turn of the 19th – 20th centuries: Leosh Janacek , Boguslav Martinu , Bela Bartok , Zoltan Kodai . In 1975 , she was awarded the Robert Schuman Prize for her performance of Schumann music. Boshi is also known for her performances as part of a piano duet with Germaine Mounier .
