Subarashiki Hibi ~ Furenzoku Sonzai ~

The game is divided into six related stories ^[1] , whose names are taken from the books of Alice in Wonderland and Alice in Through the Looking Glass . Almost all stories retell the events of July 2012 before the alleged end of the world from different perspectives.

• Yuki Minakami ( 水上 由 岐 岐 Minakami Yuki ) is the main character in the story Down the Rabbit Hole . Very smart and sociable girl. Yuuki is most fond of spending time reading books, as well as lighting a cigarette. She lives next door to her childhood friends Kagami Wakatsuki and Tsukasa Wakatsuki.

Seiyu - Rino Kawashima .

• Takuji Mamiya ( 間 宮 卓 司 Mamiya Takuji ) is the protagonist of the story. This is my own invention . Very humble and shy. Takuji is otaku. He has a younger sister, Hasaki Mamiya, with whom he lives.

Seiyu - Shin Sayuma .

• Zakuro Takashima ( 高 島 ざ く ろ Takashima Zakuro ) is the main character in the story Mirror Insects and girlfriend Yuki and Takuji. Very shy and good-natured girl. Likes to sing karaoke.

Seiyu - Sui Suzuya .

• Tomosane Yuki ( 悠 木 皆 守 Yu: Ki Tomosane ) is the main character in the stories of Barmaglot 1 and Barmaglot 2 . Best friend of Yuki and Hasaki. Very good at fist fights. Tomosane works in a restaurant as a pianist. His favorite pastime is a video game. He hates Takuji, therefore, extorting money from him and severely beating him at every opportunity.
• Hasaki Mamiya ( я 宮 羽 咲 Mamiya Hasaki ) - the main character in the story is the One who dreamed and the younger sister of Takuji. Very modest and shy girl. Hasaki is very attached to Takuji and does everything to help him. Always carries a stuffed rabbit. She also works in the kitchen, in the same restaurant as Tomosane.

Seiyu - Komugi Nishida .

• Kagami Wakatsuki ( 若 槻 鏡 Wakatsuki Kagami ) is Tsukasa’s twin sister and childhood friend Yuki. A very strict and at the same time good-natured girl with long hair. Often unhappy with Yuuki's behavior, but actually secretly in love with her.

Seiyu - Yu Ogura .

• Tsukasa Wakatsuki ( 若 槻 司 Wakatsuki Tsukasa ) is Kagami's twin sister and childhood friend Yuki. Unlike Kagami, a very calm and sweet girl with short hair. Also, like Kagami, in love with Yuki.

Seiyu - Aoi Kusaragi .

• Kimika Tachibana ( 橘 希 実 香 Tachibana Kimika ) is a classmate and friend of Zakuro.

Seiyu - Minami Hokuto .

• Ayana Otonashi ( 音 無 彩 名 Otonashi Ayana ) is a mysterious girl faced by various main characters on a school roof. She speaks mysteriously, often refers to literary works, and does strange things that others find more disturbing than funny.

The game is divided into six different stories ^[1] telling about the events of the five main characters (Yuki Minakami, Takuji Mamiya, Zakuro Takashima, Tomosane Yuki and Hasaki Mamiya). To move on to the next story, the player will need to make the appropriate choices. In each story, secrets are revealed about the past of the main character and about the events that he is trying to understand. Also, the player can enter into a romantic and sexual relationship with a character who is available in this story. After completing all the stories, bonus materials open, such as art, music and erotic scenes.

"The story of heaven and the world." ^[1] The story tells of the life of Yuki Minakami. One day she meets a young girl, Zakuro Takashima, who tells her about the strange events taking place in Tokyo. Yuki introduces Zakuro to his childhood friends Kagami and Tsukasa Wakatsuki and they begin to live together and enjoy a quiet and peaceful life. There are only three endings in this story: two happy ones and one main one, which will take the player to the second part of the story Down the Rabbit Hole . In the first happy ending, Yuuki begins a love relationship with Kagami and continues to live a quiet life. In the second happy ending, Yuuki begins a love relationship with Tsukasa and continues to live a quiet life. In the main ending, Yuuki along with Zakuro goes to meet the stars to help her in finding the true life.

The story tells the story of Yuki Minakami's life. One day she meets a young girl Zakuro Takashima, who kisses her. The next day, Yuuki finds out that Zakuro committed suicide. Yuki's classmate, Takuji Mamiya, tells all classmates that on July 20, 2012, the world will end and Zakuro's death is the first sign. He also talks about the Web Bot Project website and The Last Sky event. Yuki also meets a girl named Ayana Otonashi, who also confirms the end of the world. There is one main ending in this story that will take the player into the story. This is my own invention . In the main ending, Yuuki tries to save Kagami, who was abducted by Takuji, but she mysteriously turns into a plush toy. After which she finds Takuji who commits suicide by jumping from the roof.

"The story of the beginning and the end." ^[1] The story tells of the life of Takuji Mamiya. Being familiar with Zakuro Takashima was an ordinary guy. After meeting Ayana Otonashi and visiting the Web Bot Project website, I became more gloomy and closed. Upon learning of the death of Zakuro, he began to see the future and perform dark rites. This story has a close relationship with the story Down the rabbit hole . There are two endings in this story: one happy and one main, which will take the player to the story of Mirror Insects . In the main ending, Takuji kills his classmate Tomosane Yuki and later, to perform the ritual, they abduct the Kagami together with Ayana and are raped and sacrificed. After confessing her love to her friend Zakuro, Kimiki Tachibane, Takuji says goodbye to her and commits suicide before she comes, jumping from the roof. In the happy ending, Takuji refuses to perform rituals and therefore does not kill Tomosane and does not kidnap Kagami. To get rid of visions of a terrible future, Takuji decides to commit suicide. At the last moment, the arrived Kimika stops him and she confesses his love to him. At the end, Takuji and Kimika jump from the roof telling each other that they will always be together.

• Looking-glass Insects

"The story of a reader girl and a chemical girl." ^[1] The story tells of the life of Zakuro Takashima. Living a normal life with her friend Kimika Tachibana and close friend Takuji Mamiya, Zakuro knew no worries. One day, Zakuro and Kimiku began to harass the hooligans, after which Zakuro began to feel like a spawn. There are two endings in this story: one happy and one main, which will take the player to the history of Barmaglot 1 . In the happy ending, Zakuro finds the strength to fight and, together with Kimika and Takuji, manages to overcome the harassers. After that, Zakuro and Kimika confess to each other in love and the girls begin a love relationship. In the main ending, harassers raped Zakuro and Kimika several times. Unable to bear such a shame, Zakuro decides to commit suicide. Later, she meets two girls who also want to die, after which all three girls climb the roof from where they jump. The main ending is an event before the start of the stories Down the Rabbit Hole and This is my own invention .

• Barmaglot 1 ( English Jabberwocky )

"The story of the savior and the hero." ^[1] The story tells of the life of Tomosane Yuki. Tomosane leads a normal life, goes to school, works in a restaurant as a pianist, and keeps all bullies in fear. His close friends are Yuki Minakami and Hasaki Mamiya. This story has a close relationship with the story Down the rabbit hole and This is my own invention . In this story, there is a main ending that will take the player to the story of the One who dreamed . In the main ending, Tomosane also learns about Zakuro's death and rumors about the end of the world. In the end, Tomosane tries to stop the distraught Takuji Mamiya, but receives a mortal wound from him with a knife and dies in the arms of Hasaki who came to his aid. Before dying, Tomosane recognizes Hasaki in love.

• The One Who Dreamed ( Which Dreamed It )

"The story of a brother and sister." ^[1] The story tells of the life of Hasaki Mamiya. Hasaki led a normal life until she found out about the death of Zakuro and that her brother Takuji Mamiya began to see the future. In this story, there is one main ending that will take the player to the history of Barmaglot 2 . In the main ending, Takuji, distraught from the predictions, enters Hasaki in her ivy bunny with a rite and half tears the toy. Having regained consciousness, Takuji apologizes to Hasaki and realizing that it is impossible to bring his sister back, commits suicide by jumping from the roof.

• Barmaglot 2 ( born Jabberwocky II )

"The story of sunflowers and the hill." ^[1] The story tells of the lives of three friends Yuki Minakami, Hasaki Mamiya, and Tomosane (Takuji) Mamiya several years before the events. It also tells about the past of Takuji (Tomosane) Yuki who wanted to destroy the whole world and rebuild it under his own authority. This story is a story before the events of past stories Down the rabbit hole , This is my own invention , Mirror insects , Barmaglot 1 and He who dreamed . In this story, there are three main endings: the sun-flower trail , every day is beautiful and the heavenly end 2 . In the story itself, Takuji (Tomosane) kidnaps Hasaki and tries to kill her, however, Yuki and Tomosane (Takuji) save her, after which friends kill Takuji (Tomosane), thereby preventing all events that were in previous stories. After the murder of Takuji (Tomosane), friends go to school and live a happy life.

• • Sunflower Trail ( Sunflower Road )

After the events in the history of Barmaglot 2 , Yuki, Hasaki and Tomosane (Takuji) walk around the field and falling on the grass they tell each other that now they will be fine.

• • Wonderful Every Day

After the events that happened in the history of Barmaglot 2 , Tomosane (Takuji) walks along the river where he meets his friend and tells him that now the world will be safe.

• • Heavenly End 2 ( Eng. Endsky II )

After the events that happened in the history of Barmaglot 2 , Yuki meets with Ayana on the roof and she tells her that now they all return to a normal and happy life, with which Ayana agrees.

January 30, 2010 was released a demo version of the game Subarashiki Hibi, which became available for download on the official website. ^[2] Initially, the developers planned to release Subarashiki Hibi on February 26, 2010, but due to a flaw in the game, they postponed the release date a month later. ^[2]

The official soundtrack for Subarashiki Hibi was the song "Kūkirikigaku Shōjo to Shōnen no Uta" ( Japanese 空 気 力学 少女 と 少年 の 詩 ) performed by Hana. ^{[3] The} music for the game was written by composer Szak. ^[3]

Subarashiki Hibi won a bronze prize in the Moe Game Awards 2010, ^[4] as well as a gold prize in the plot category. ^[five]
