Geography

The village of Semenkovo ​​is located in the southern part of the Trinity administrative district, near the Kaluga highway A130 about 31 km south-west of the center of the city of Podolsk , on the left bank of the Voronovka River flowing into Mocha [8] . Moscow Small Ring A107 is 14 km to the northeast, and the Big Ring of the Moscow Railway is 1.5 km to the south.

There are 14 streets in the village, a horticultural partnership is attributed [9] . It is connected by bus with the Tyoply Stan metro station [10] and the city of Podolsk (routes 1028, 1036 and 1077) [11] . The nearest settlements are the villages of Lviv and Kosovka , the nearest station is Kresty .

History

In the “List of Populated Places” of 1862, Semenova (Semenkovo, Venevo, Novaya Derevnya) is the owner's village of the 1st camp of the Podolsky district of the Moscow province on the right side of the Old Kaluga tract, 33 versts from the county town and 4 versts from the stavoy apartment, by the river Voronovka, with 14 courtyards and 111 inhabitants (53 men, 58 women) [2] .

According to the data for 1899 - the village of Voronovo volost of the Podolsk district with 168 inhabitants [4] .

In 1913 - 30 yards [12] .

According to the materials of the 1926 All-Union Census, the center of the Semenkovsky village council of the Voronovo volost of Podolsky uyezd, 0.5 km from the Kaluga highway and 23.5 km from the Stolbovaya station of the Kursk railway, 186 residents (86 men, 100 women) lived, there were 37 farms [5] .

1929-1946 - A settlement in the Krasnoyarsk region of the Moscow region.

1946-1957 - as part of the Kalinin district of the Moscow region.
