Giovanni de Vecchi was born in Borgo Sansepolcro in 1536. First studied with the artist Rafaele Colle , and then with Taddeo Zuccaro .
Painter of the Florentine school. He painted a lot of frescoes , mainly in Rome , mostly not preserved.
One of his students was Cesare Torelli Romano.
