New Lots Line, Ai-ar-ti ( Livonia Avenue line) - The New York Metro line operated by the Interdistrict Transport Company (IRT) and now part of Division A. The line provides access to Brooklyn . This is the only IRT flyover line in Brooklyn . The New Lots Line begins east of Crown Heights - Utica Avenue in Crown Heights and continues to New Lots Avenue in New Lots County. Route 3 serves the line all the time, except late at night, and Route 4 only late in the night, replacing Route 3 . Some of the rush hour trains on routes 2 and 5 also serve the line due to the low capacity of the Nostrand Avenue line (route 5 runs along the line only once a day in the morning towards Manhattan).

On the line between the two paths is a place for the third path. At each station, sleepers are laid, but there are no rails. Sometimes this space is occupied by various signal rooms. The central path is only at Junius Street Station . Then he crosses south and goes to the Linden Shops depot. This non-electrified connection is one of two metro connections to the national railway network (the Linden Shops depot connects to the Long Island Railway , which already connects to the rest of the network). Another connection is on the West End line . There are plans to repair the flyover: updating mezzanines and stairs.
History
The New Lots Line was built as part of the Double Contracts and was opened on December 24, 1920 . On October 16, 1922, the line was extended to the current terminus of New Lots Avenue . The current line service model began to operate only in 1983 , when route 2 began to go to the Flatbush Avenue station - Brooklyn College , and route 3 - to the New Lots Avenue station .
