Polo at the 1924 Summer Olympics

Equestrian polo competitions in the framework of the 1924 Summer Olympics were held from June 28 to July 12 on the sidelines of a country club in Saint-Cloud and in Bagatel Park in the Bois de Boulogne . The competition was attended by five teams that played medals in a one-round tournament . Argentina won the gold medal, becoming the first Olympic champion in this kind of program. The matches of the tournament were attended by 24,239 spectators [1] .
