Deryabin, Boris Anatolyevich

Boris Deryabin was born in the village of Verkhovaya, Yershichsky District (now the Smolensk Region ) into a peasant family. After graduating from the Roslavl railway school in 1954, he worked as a mechanic at a car repair plant. Since 1960 - autoscraper of the Vyazemsky road construction department.

Many kilometers of roads were built under the leadership of Boris Anatolyevich in Vyazma and the Vyazemsky district, while work was often carried out in difficult conditions, which added to the difficulties. However, the team of Deryabin always fit into the time allotted for construction, and often even ahead of them, but not at the expense of quality, but due to highly professional and dedicated work.

For high-performance work, personal contribution to the construction of roads in the Smolensk region , on March 5, 1976, Boris Anatolyevich Deryabin was awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor by a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR .

In 1996, Boris Anatolyevich retired. Until the last days he lived in the city of Vyazma, Smolensk region, where he died on December 19, 2012 at the 76th year of his life.
