Geography
Located in the north of the district on the right bank of the Lovat River, 31 km north of the Velikiye Luki district center.
History
Until 2014, it was part of the rural settlement " Maryinsky volost ". The Law of the Pskov Region dated December 10, 2014 No. 1465-OZ [1] [2] , the municipalities Cherpesskaya Volost , Maryinsky Volost , Bukrovsky Volost and Shelkovskaya Volost were merged into the municipal formation Shelkovskaya Volost with administrative center in the village of Shelkovo .
Population
The estimated population for 2000 was 16 residents [3] , for 2010 - 8 residents.
