Content
Story
In an unknown future, the land was seized by a mysterious “ocean empire”. The military commander in chief of the empire, Hell Desbird, demands that all navigation require his permission to sail. Earth’s only hope is a submarine called the Super 99, a mysterious submarine developed by Dr. Jзzo Oka.
The story begins with the fact that the Japanese forces decided to explore the mysterious threat under the ocean. Goro Oki gives his younger brother Susum, a gun, a weapon modified with a 99-type rifle of the Second World War era; Susumu also received a key with the mark "99" by his grandfather Jзzo. Once, Goro and Joko Oki went to a search submarine to investigate attacks in a Japanese trench; soon their ship was attacked by a mysterious submarine hiding in a trench. So mankind declares war on a new empire.

Anime
Based on the manga plot, Vega Entertainment released an anime series that was broadcast on AT-X from May 8 to July 31, 2003 . Total released 13 episodes of the anime. The TV Tokyo channel acted as the distributor of the series. The series was also broadcast on the territory of Portugal , Brazil , Mexico , Spain and France [1] .
