Australiseiulus (lat.) - a genus of parasitiform mites of the family Phytoseiidae from the order Mesostigmata . 6 species [3] . Australia and Tasmania . Free-living predatory mites of small sizes (less than 1 mm). The most “hairy” (covered with many bristles) representatives of the family. The dorsal side carries sets z6, Z1 and JV2 (together with the other up to 38 pairs of bristles). The genus Australiseiulus is one of the oldest branches of the subfamily Typhlodrominae [4] [5] . The type species Australiseiulus australicus was found on plants of the euonymus ( Euonymus sp.), The species Australiseiulus goondi and Australiseiulus poplar on plants of the eucalyptus ( Eucalyptus populnea ), and the species Australiseiulus laterisetus Moraes, Oliveira & Zannou, 2001 - on various species of Citrus ( Citrus .) [3] .
