Born May 21, 1943 in Saarijärvi , Finland .
Since 1963, actively exhibited and gained wide fame.
In December 2007 he was awarded the highest award of Finland for artists - the medal " Pro Finlandia ".
Creativity
In his works, the artist uses stone , bronze and aluminum , and in recent years, including local species of trees, such as alder .
One of the sculptor’s most notable works is a series of three-dimensional geometric figures installed at the main entrance to the church of the city of Kotka , under the general name “Willpower” (1985), made in red granite , like the apotheosis of stereometry [1] .
