Biography
From the noblemen of the Don Don region. Orthodox. The son of an officer. He studied at the Novocherkassk classical gymnasium. He entered the military service on September 09, 1889 at the Alekseevsky Military School . He was released from the college with a senior cornet on August 05, 1891 to the equestrian artillery brigade of the Orenburg Cossack army . Later it was a set of Don Cossack regiments. From August 11, 1910 to April 8, 1911, he was the headquarters officer for assignments at the headquarters of the Vilna Military District, then until April 9, 1912, he was the senior adjutant of the district headquarters.

From May 8 to September 8, 1913, he was assigned to the 8th Don Cossack Regiment to familiarize himself with the general requirements of the command of the Cossack regiment.
