He made a significant contribution to the development of spectral analysis in the USSR, the development of spectral methods and the introduction of spectral analysis in the practice of laboratories of heavy industry plants and other enterprises.
Biography
He graduated from the Physics Department of Moscow State University (1932). Assistant, associate professor of the Department of General Physics, Moscow State University , researcher at the optical laboratory G.S. Landsberg . His main research interests are experimental research in the field of physical optics, molecular physics, and spectral analysis. He developed a method for spectral-analytical quantitative determination of silicon in malleable cast iron during melting and created a device for the spectral determination of silicon and chromium in cast iron, as well as copper, titanium, aluminum, chromium, and tungsten in steels.
