Yevgeny Vasilievich Trofimov (born June 27, 1944 , Kuznetsk ) is a Russian track and field coach in the pole vault discipline [1] .

Biography
He graduated from the Volgograd State Institute of Physical Culture in 1966 . Since 2006, he has been the head coach of the Russian national athletics team ( pole vault ).
Personal trainer E. Isinbaeva from 1997 to 2006 and from 2010 to 2013. The athlete under his leadership won the Olympic Games in Athens (2004) , the world championships: in Budapest (2004) , Helsinki (2005) , in Moscow in 2006 and in 2013 , and also won the bronze medals of the Olympic Games in London (2012) and World Cup in Paris (2003) .
Evgeny Vasilievich works with other talented athletes:
- Natalia Demidenko, born in 1993, who took third place in the European Championship among juniors, the winner of the country's championship at her age. Personal record - 4.40 meters;
- Anton Ivakin , winner of the junior world championship with a result of 5.50 meters, bronze medalist of the adult championship of Russia;
- Victor Kozlitin, candidate for the Russian Olympic team, winner of the national championship. Personal record - 5.66 meters.
His students more than 20 times became winners and prize-winners of the championships of the USSR and Russia.
