Biography
Born in the village of Kuchka (now in the Markovsky rural settlement , Orsha district of the Republic of Mari El , Russia ).
Since 1912 he worked as a teacher in Primorye. During the First World War he was drafted into the army.
In December 1917 - January 1918 he was chairman of the Kuchka Council in the Vyatka province ; from January 1918 - chairman of the Orsha volost council, then commissioner of food of the Yaran district of the same province [1] . In February 1918 he joined the RCP (b) . Since April 1918 - commissar of education of the Vyatka province, then was the commissar of the Vyatka international detachment (from August 1918; participated in punitive operations [2] ), chairman of the Executive Committee of the Yaran District Council (since December 1918) [1] .
Since April 1919 - in the Red Army : commissar of the brigade, member of the Revolutionary Tribunal (Baku), inspector of the Political Administration of the Red Army [1] . Since 1923, he held business positions in the Vyatka province, in Saratov , in the Kuban [1] ; participated in the activities for razachachivaniyu [2] .
Since 1932 - at party work: he was in charge of the sector, then - sub-department of the Central Committee of the CPSU (B.) From 1937 to May 1938, he was the 3rd secretary of the Rostov Regional Committee of the CPSU (B.) [1] .
From May 1938 to 1959 - manager of the Central Committee of the CPSU (b) (since 1952 - the Central Committee of the CPSU) [1] .
He was elected a delegate to the XVIII Conference of the CPSU (b) (1941; from the Central Committee of the CPSU (b)) [3] , XX Congress of the CPSU (1956; from the Rostov Party Organization) [4] ; deputy (from the Rostov region) of the Supreme Council of the RSFSR I-III convocations (1938-1955) [5] [6] [7] .
He was on friendly terms with M. A. Sholokhov , whose letters to D. V. Krupin, as well as excerpts from the novels “ Virgin Soil Upturned ” and “ They Fought for the Motherland, ” with the author's inscriptions to D. V. Krupin and his children are kept in State Archives of the Kirov Region [8] .
In 1959 he retired.
He was buried at the Novodevichy cemetery (plot number 1).
