Infinite ryvius

In 2225, humanity successfully colonized all the planets of the solar system , and traveling in space is becoming commonplace. The action takes place in the space station "Libe Delta", located in Earth orbit, in which future pilots of spacecraft are trained. Koji Aiba, a 16-year-old boy, is sent, with his childhood friend Aoi and younger brother Yuki, to train at the station. Suddenly, the station, for mysterious reasons, begins to plummet and collapse. People, saving their lives, go to an unusual ship Rivias. The ship manages to break away from orbit, thereby saving the life of 486 people. Rivias pilots send alarms throughout the solar system, but no one responds, and vice versa, warships begin to attack Rivias, declaring them officially terrorists. Later the ship is captured by a group of pirates led by Blue. He decides to respond with aggression to the attacks of the military, and so begins the long war of Rivias with the solar system. The pilots in the meantime are trying to send further signals for help. However, the pirates were overthrown, thanks to the carefully thought-out plan of Stein Hagar, a member of the crew. Half a year passes, and food stocks are gradually depleted. The inhabitants of Rivias, consisting of students, as it becomes more and more difficult to live in a ship, become more and more aggressive. Many people, including the main characters, begin to go crazy because they lose their faith and hope to be saved. Later it turns out the reason why the military began to hunt for Rivias - it contains a unique program in the image of the girl Nei, who is able to evolve in critical situations. Thus, the military planned to improve Neyu, despite the lives of hundreds of students, believing that it was created to save the solar system from a catastrophe, but at the moment it is not yet perfect. However, at the very end of the story, the crew of the ship receives assistance, and all students are saved. A year goes by, and former members of the Rivias, including Koji, are offered to go on a trip to Rivias again. Oddly enough, almost everyone agrees.

Ship Rivias

Koji Aiba ( Jap. 相 葉 昴 治 Aiba Ko: Ji ) - The main character of the story, he is 16 years old. Calm, intelligent and honest guy, but weak character. Sent to Delta station to get a license for a second-level pilot. Together with his younger brother, he was raised by a single mother. Subconsciously, he behaves as a guardian in relation to Yuki, which is very annoying. Despite his weak and spineless nature, Koji is able to negotiate well and diplomatically with people. He is one of the few pilots of the crew who calls to solve problems in the most liberal ways and is categorically against violence. After dissatisfaction with pilots is ripening among students, Koji becomes a scapegoat because of his insecurity, and he is actually beaten every day, leaving no living space on his body. When all the crew members went crazy, Koji was actually the only one who remained himself, although he was not at all easier than the rest. One year after the main events, Kouji returns to Rivias.

Sayyu : Tetsu Shiratori

Aoi Hosen ( Jap. 蓬 仙 あ お い Ho: sen Aoi ) - Koji and Yuki's childhood friend, knows them more than anyone else. Often, when Koji and Yuki quarrel again, she seeks to reconcile them. Initially went to the Delta as a stewardess. She is friends with Kodzue and Aibas, other girls, and lives next door to them. It has strong feelings for Koji and Yuki and ultimately chooses Koji. He strives to be always with him and often interferes in his affairs. One year after the main events, Koji returns to Rivias as an official couple.

Sayu : Hoko Kuvasima

Yuki Aiba ( 相 相 葉 Aiba Yu: ki ) - Koji's younger brother. He is 15 years old. It is the complete opposite of the brother. Very rude, hot-tempered, does before he thinks and constantly climbs into fights. Hates his brother and almost always scolds him and then beats him. According to him, Koji always “points and presses” on him, although he himself is a bad example. Many argue that Yuki simply suffers from a “brother complex”. One of the best pilots in the rivias. For a long time piloted by a giant robot that fought with enemy ships. In addition to the above, he is also interested in girls. Once he broke off relations with his first girlfriend, brunette Erina Rigby, on board the Delta Libe shortly before the station was destroyed. His current girlfriend is Cullen Luxor, classmate pilot and main cameraman for Vital Guarder. At the end of the story, his relationship with Koji becomes more friendly.

Sayyu : Soichiro Hoshi

Ikumi Oze ( Jap. 尾 瀬 イ ク ミ Oze Ikumi ) is a friend of Koji and Yuki. He is 16 years old, he is from Jupiter. Calm, friendly and likeable guy. As a rule, tries to calm Yuuki when he runs into a fight. Because of this, Kodzue has greatly changed, she fell into insanity and offended Aoi, her best friend, and later Ikumi takes her to a separate cabin, Kozue loses her mind, and as if loses her positive and negative emotions. So she had previously killed two people: her boyfriend and best friend. As she develops relations with Koji, she decides that he will be her husband and awaits a response from him. However, Koji hesitated and in the end his choice fell on Aoi. Startled, Fajna could not forgive such an act and at first tried to not intersect with him in every way, and then, seeing the mortally wounded Koji, decided to strangle him as “her bad past,” saying that the past should not exist. However, she was prevented by Ney.

Sayyu : Rikako Aikawa

Ney ( Jap. ネ ー ヤ Ne: I ) - A mysterious girl in an unusual costume, who wanders like a ghost in a ship and is at the same time in all the desired places, watching its inhabitants. Later it turns out that it is a ship system and is unique in itself, as it can evolve and has a mind. During the attack, when the ship is in danger, it independently activates the defense of the ship, continuing with this its evolution. Appearing in the form of a girl is nothing but a special hologram , which on the one hand, like a ghost, can pass through objects and end up in desired places at any second, on the other hand, it can subject its “body” to physical laws. So she was once carried unconscious to the ward, where she was in contact with things, like a simple person. Ney has the appearance of the late daughter of Conrad Wiscus, the man who led the hunt for Rivias. When Ney appears before Conrad, urging him to leave Rivias, Conrad, shocked, gives an immediate order to stop the attack and save the students of Rivias, after a moment having shot himself.

Team Blue

Ars Blue ( Jap. エ ア ー ズ ・ ブ ー Ea: dzu Buru :) ) - Head of the Pirates team. His father is the minister of defense on the satellite of Saturn. For a long time remained the main Rivias. During the battle with the military ship, he, being inside the combat robot, said that he was not interested in the fate of the people in Rivias. Stein intercepted the conversation and broadcast it on Rivias. So among the students there is discontent. Blue members are captured and imprisoned. Blue himself is hiding. After some time, Koji finds him and decides to secretly bring food to him. By the end of the story, Blue decides to give Koji a gun, saying that "he wonders how he uses it."

Sayu : Nobuyuki Hiyama

Michelle Kay ( Jap. ミ シ ェ ル ・ イ ис э э ) - Member of the Blue pirate team. It looks like a child with green hair. She is frivolous, but also aggressive. First, for a long time, she skillfully flirted with the crew members of Zvi to follow Blue's orders. Shot "for fun" rocket Rivias into space. After the gang of Blue was overthrown in the ship, she and her sister were supposed to be beaten up, but Charlie comes to their aid, sacrificing himself to save Cliff. The girl was then struck by Charlie’s dedication and decides to meet him seriously, arguing that "he is the first man to accept her for who she is." Because of what quarrel with Michelle. So until the end of the story, they stay together. A year after the events, Charlie and Cliff live together, Cliff wears braids and makes Charlie lose weight.

After the overthrow of Blue, she kept him in his bandana all the time, she was chosen as team captain, but despite her sharp mind, Yuiri did not possess the necessary leadership qualities and was quickly removed. She later sought to help Koji.

Sayu : Kyoko Hikami

Lukson Hokujo ( Jap. ル ク ス ン ・ 北 条 Ruskun Hokujo:) - Formal captain Rivias, his ancestors for dozens of generations were also captains. It has a very positive character and leadership qualities, but he himself is short-sighted and cowardly. It looks not very noticeable, but in fact he is an excellent and cold-blooded strategist who does not claim to be the team captain, however, he has a strong influence on the captain, actually manipulating them. His father is a civilian officer in the Defense Army. For a long time he acted as an assistant to Yuiri. He calculates everything very well and easily convinces other pilots that they are right. In particular, he thought out a plan to overthrow the gang of Blue.

Sayyu : Isshin Tiba

Charlie ( Jap. チ ャ ー リ ー Ty: ri:) - Crew member zvi. His real name is "Good Tartland", got the nickname from the gang Blue. A very cowardly guy who is ready to do everything if he feels threatened. It was because of him that the Blue gang seized Rivias' ship. At first the gang members beat him, but after Cliff seduced him, he very easily obeyed Blue. Despite the fact that Cliff didn’t have any feelings for him, and did this only so that Charlie obeyed Blue, the guy naively continued to believe that Cliff loves him. After Cliff was attacked, he set himself up to protect Cliff. So the girl seriously decides to start a relationship with him. A year after the events, it turns out that Charlie and Cliff live together, and Charlie himself becomes thin, since Cliff made him go on a diet.

It was first broadcast on TV Tokyo from October 6, 1999 to March 23, 2000 . Total released 26 episodes of anime. The series received in 2000 the Kobe Award, as the best animation on the fifth presentation ^[1] .
