Content
History
The original name Cossack Street has been known since 1912, given by the barracks of the Cossack Regiment’s Life Guards located in this part of the city [2] .
It was renamed to Bekhterev Street on January 21, 1957 in honor of V. M. Bekhterev , a Russian neurologist, psychiatrist and psychologist, organizer and head of the Psychiatric Institute located on this street, in connection with the 100th anniversary of his birth [2] .
