History
In former times, the village of Khidikus was part of the Tsymytin society. By the middle of the XIX century, the strengthening and economic independence of the village led to the emergence of contradictions within the Tsymytinsk community, for control over the communal lands. This in turn was the reason for the weakening of the entire Tsymytin society.
Some Ossetian families consider their tribal settlement of Khidikus: Bugulov, Akhpolov, Alizova, Bugaev, Gusov, Godzhiev, Dzabrayev, Dzuskaev, Kalmanov, Kargiev, Tsagaraev and others [2] .
As of 1886, in the village of Hidikus there were 68 courtyards (14 surnames), of which Gusov (including Alizov) owned 27 courtyards (260 people). Other surnames moved here from neighboring villages or from other gorges [3] .
In 1921–1922, the residents of Hidekus moved to the village of Nart, which was founded in the foothills. Years later, people from the village began to return partially to the ancestral village.
