The flag was approved on April 26, 2012 by a decision of the Duma of the Bolsherechensk Municipal Formation2 No. 3-1 / dgp [1] and, as violating Russian vexillological standards, was not included in the State Heraldry Register of the Russian Federation .
Description
The flag of the Bolsherechensky municipality is a green flag on which a stylized image of Lake Baikal , a section of the Angara River, on the banks of which is located the working village of Bolshaya Rechka, is the center of the municipality, indicated by a blue circle on the flag.
At the bottom of the flag is the inscription "Big River" against a blue background, stylized as the waves of the Bolshaya River in whose honor the village is named.
A stylized image of a silver sable is printed on a green background.
The ratio of the width and length of the flag of the Bolsherechensky municipal entity should be 1: 2.
The colors used carry a certain semantic load.
Blue is the honor, the color of the Mother of God, under whose auspices Russia was located, heavenly powers, fidelity, constancy, truth.
Green is a symbol of hope, joy, abundance, ecology.
Silver - symbolizes nobility, frankness, purity and truthfulness.
