Kim, Vissarion Vladimirovich

Born on June 23, 1956 in Tashkent , Uzbekistan .

In 1979 he graduated from the Moscow Power Engineering Institute with a degree in Nuclear Power Plants and Installations.

Activities

• May 1979 - March 1984 - engineer of the reactor shop, mechanical engineer of the reactor shop, senior engineer of reactor control at the reactor shop of the South Ukrainian NPP SE Energoatom.
• March 1984 - July 1990 - Deputy Head of the Reactor Workshop for Operation of the Reactor Workshop, Head of the Station Change, Head of the Reactor Workshop of OP “ South-Ukrainian NPP ” of State Enterprise NAEK Energoatom.

Commenting on the election of V. Kim to the Board of Governors of the World Association of NPP Operators ( WANO , WANO) ^[2] , WANO Chairman Laurent Stricker noted that it is crucial that all atomic power station operators are led by people who are thoroughly versed in technical issues. “I’m very interested in such leaders to be members of the WANO Board of Governors,” said the chairman of the Association.
