He belonged to the Jackson 5 family band, performing with her since 1975. He had the nickname Little Randy (Eng. "Little Randy"), because he was younger than all the brothers in the family, and of the sisters only Janet was older. One of his older brothers was Michael Jackson .
Randy Jackson co-authored the single Shake Your Body from Destiny . His vocals can be heard on songs like Can You Feel It from Triumph , One More Chance and Hurt from Victory and Nothin ' from 2300 Jackson Street . Together with his own band, he released the album Randy and the Gypsys (1989). In 1980, he was seriously injured in a car accident [3] . He was twice married and divorced, from both marriages in total has four children [4] .
In June 2010 he was hospitalized due to a heart attack [5] .
