Geography
The area of ββthe district is 3,887.77 kmΒ². In the east it borders with Pasaman district , in the south - with Agam district, in the north - with the territory of the North Sumatra province , in the west it is washed by the waters of the Indian Ocean .
Population
According to the 2010 census , 365,129 people lived in the district [1] .
