Nemesis is the fourteenth studio album of the Finnish power metal band Stratovarius . Its release took place on February 22, 2013 on the German label . Nemesis was the first full-length album of the group, in the recording of which the new drummer Rolf Pilve took part, replacing Jörg Michael . The production and mixing of the album was done by Matthias Kupiainen, and the mastering was by Mika Ussila from the Finnvox studio.

According to Stratovarius vocalist Timo Kotypelto, Nemesis sounds darker and more modern, and work on it was easier than on the previous Elysium album, as the group had enough time for this. The regular edition of the album contains eleven tracks., and special - thirteen [8] [9] .
Content
History
The disc was announced on November 24, 2012 on the Stratovarius website. On December 5, the group published a track listing of the album and posted on the YouTube channel of the earMUSIC label a fragment of the song “Unbreakable” [10] . This song was released as a single on January 25, 2013. In addition to the title track, the release contains four remastered songs from previous albums of the group [8] .
For the first time, songs from Nemesis Stratovarius were performed on February 9 and 10, 2013 as part of Radio Rock Cruise. The tour in support of the album began in the spring of 2013 [11] .
