The pearl of the palace

"The Pearl of the Palace" is a South Korean series that takes place in the 15th century in Korea during the reign of the Joseon Dynasty. The plot is the story of a young girl who faced many difficulties. As a child, she lost her parents, and then ended up in the palace, where she was to meet the palace plots, the dangerous and treacherous plans of Lady Choi, rivalry, reveal her talents and, of course, meet her love. The talent, combined with donkey stubbornness and perseverance, allows not only becoming the first female doctor in history, but also the king’s personal doctor, saving a large number of lives and finding new ways to treat terrible diseases, becoming the first Korean doctor in history to use a surgical treatment.

• Songdzhon (1469-1494) - the ruler of Korea, the action of the series begins with the 13th year of his reign in 1482. The husband of the ousted queen.

• Lee Young-ee - Chan Gyum ^[1] , smart and talented Her talent haunts envious people. She and Lady Han are referred to Jeju Island , and Lady Han is dying on the way to the island. Working on the island, she chooses to study medicine as revenge for the death of Lady Han. Soon he returned to the imperial palace, becoming the chief court healer and the only female doctor in the history of the Joseon Dynasty. The path chosen as revenge becomes the work of her life. Chungjon awarded her the title of Te, which literally means "Great" and 3 degree. Since the ministers did not want to obey the woman, this title was unique and applied only to Chan Gum and she did not manage the hospital.

• Hong Ni Na - Choi Gyum Young, the niece of Lady Choi, a constant rival to Chan Gyum.
