Justification of Symbols
The flag of the Petushinsky rural settlement in the language of symbols and allegories reflects the natural and other features of the settlement:
- the green color of the banner - an allegory of farmland located on the territory of the settlement;
- a stylized cockerel - a vowel symbol of the name of the settlement and the name of the administrative center of the settlement of the village of Old Petushki . The figure of a rooster on the flag of the settlement is similar to the figure of a rooster in the coat of arms of the Petushinsky district, which symbolizes the close ties of two independent municipalities. A rooster in heraldry is a symbol of alertness and courage, a messenger of the beginning and end of the day. The rooster is a symbol of the protector, a symbol of caring for the family.
- the yellow strip is a symbol of the railway and the Moscow - Nizhny Novgorod highway passing through the territory of the settlement, and with which the labor activity of many of its residents is connected;
- spruce - a symbol of the forests surrounding the lands of the settlement, as well as a symbol of the Krutovsky nature reserve located on the lands of the settlement;
- a blue wavy strip - an allegory of the Klyazma river, the main river of the south of Vladimir lands.
Green color symbolizes spring, health, nature, youth and hope.
Yellow color ( gold ) is a symbol of the highest value, greatness, magnanimity, wealth.
Blue color (light blue ) is a symbol of exalted aspirations, sincerity, devotion, rebirth.
