History

Formed in 1939 in the Kharkov Military District , later (in 1940) became part of the 25th Rifle Corps . Pre-war address: Poltava region, Zolotonosha city, PO Box 30, field mail 878.

Command

  • The division commander (September 15, 1939 - July 27, 1941) - brigade commander Bazarov Vladimir Kuzmich - was killed on July 27, 1941 in the vicinity of the village of Makhov (Mokhovo) in the Smolensk region, and was buried there [1] .
  • Division commander (08/01/1941 - 11/30/1941) Colonel Zashibalov Mikhail Arsentyevich [2] .
  • The commissioner of the division is Kuznetsov.
  • The chief of staff of the division is Lt. Col. Svetlichny.
