It is located on the banks of the Tsvenka River (a tributary of the Uda ), 42 km northwest of the regional center of Bezhanitsy and 9 km west of the village of Ubliska .

The population of the village is 35 inhabitants (2000). [one]

Until June 3, 2010, the village was part of the now abolished Novo-Kuznetsovskaya volost with its center in the village of Ubliska .
