It is located on the banks of the Tsvenka River (the right tributary of the Uda ), 34 km northwest of the regional center Bezhanitsy and 10 km northwest of the village of Ashevo .
The population of the village is 12 inhabitants (2000). [one]
Until June 3, 2010, the village was part of the now abolished Ashevsky volost .
