The stadium was built in 1974-1975 and named after the then governor of Paraiba Hernani Satira . In everyday life between the fans , the name Amigão is often used ( port. O Amigão , “ Friend , mate ”), since Satyr called his electorate “ old friends ”.

The stadium has athletics tracks and today holds 25,770 spectators. [one]

The first match took place on March 8, 1975 , when Campinense hosted Botafogo from Rio de Janeiro . The meeting ended in a goalless draw .

The attendance record (42149 spectators) was recorded on February 7, 1982 , when “ Tresi ” lost to Flamengo with a score of 1: 3.

Today, the stadium is the home arena for the Kampinense and Perilima football clubs . “ Tresi ”, down to league D of the Brazilian championship , holds only the most important matches here.
