Biography
The son of the philosopher A. N. Maslin (1906-1970) [3] [4] .
In 1970 he graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy of Moscow State University named after MV Lomonosov [1] [2] . In 1973 he graduated from graduate school there. He defended his thesis for the degree of candidate of philosophical sciences on the topic "The ideology of Russian revolutionary populism in modern Anglo-American historiography. Critical analysis ” [5] [1] [2] .
Since 1973 he has been working at the Department of the History of Philosophy of the Peoples of the USSR (now the Department of the History of Russian Philosophy) of the Philosophy Faculty of Moscow State University. He has gone from a junior and senior researcher to a professor (since 1991) and the head of the department (since 1992). [1] [5]
In 1988 he defended his thesis for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy on the topic "Modern bourgeois concepts of the history of Russian philosophy (from Radishchev to revolutionary populists)" [6] [5]

The monograph “Russian social philosophy of the late XIX - early XX centuries: a psychological school” reveals the concept of psychologism in the social sciences, theoretical and social prerequisites for turning Russian social philosophy at the turn of the 20th century to the substantiation of the concept of a psychological type ( N.
