Biography
The son of an obstetrician Semyon Lazarevich Bilinkis (1892—?). Member of World War II . [one]
It was published since 1945. He graduated from the philological faculty of Moscow State University (1950). Lecturer in the Department of Russian Literature A.I. Herzen in 1962-1998, a member of the Union of Writers of St. Petersburg.
The main themes of the works of Ya. S. Bilinkis: the work of L. N. Tolstoy , the national-historical originality of Russian literature of the XIX century. Books: “The Great Russian Writer L.N. Tolstoy” (1953), “Dramaturgy by Alexander Korneychuk ” (1957), “On the Works of L.N. Tolstoy” (1959), “ Anna Karenina ” by L.N. Tolstoy and Russian literature of the 1870s ”(1970),“ Innovation of L. N. Tolstoy in the trilogy “ Childhood ”, “ Adolescence ”, “ Youth ” ”(1973),“ Russian Classics and the Study of Literature at School ”(1986), articles on interpretations of Russian classics in theater and cinema.
Wife, Militsa Nikolaevna Bobrovskaya - psychiatrist; son Michael (1945-2007) - literary critic.
