The 70th Golden Globe Awards for Cinematographic and Television Awards in 2012 was held on January 13, 2013 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel ( Los Angeles , California , USA ). The nominees were announced at a press conference at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on December 13, 2012.
The ceremony was hosted by comedians Tina Fey and Amy Poehler . Actress Jodie Foster was awarded the honorary award by Cécile B. De Mille for life achievements in the field of cinema.
The best films of the year are “ Operation Argo” by Ben Affleck , who picked up the statuette for the best director's work, and “ Les Miserables ” by Tom Hooper . The best actor in the drama was Daniel Day-Lewis (" Lincoln "), the actress - Jessica Chastain (" Target number one "). Similar awards for reincarnations in comedies are marked by Hugh Jackman (“Les Miserables”) and Jennifer Lawrence (“ My boyfriend is a psycho ”).
