Story
Events unfold six weeks after Breakthrough Day and 14 years before the Light Offensive . A little more than a month after the Pendulum War ended, which lasted 79 years, and the Coalition of the United States entered into battle with a new, still poorly studied, enemy - the Locust Horde. The whole planet turned into a war zone, and the government and military command were not able to coordinate troops, and ensure the safety of civilians.
At that time, Damon Baird was a lieutenant, commanding officer of the Kilo detachment, but after recent events in the city of Halvo Bay, he and his people found themselves under the tribunal, which was arranged by Colonel Ezra Lumis, a stern soldier and commander of the Onyx Guard (coalition elite special forces), taking command of the local defense forces. The hearing takes place in the courthouse occupied by the Sentinels, where Loomis alternately interrogates Damon Byrd and his fighters: Sophia Hendrick, Onyx Guard cadet from the Halvo Bay Military Academy; Garron Paduc, a former Horasnian major of the Union of Independent Republics, who became the "gear" of the Coalition under the Open Weapons Program (the decision of the Coalition government to recruit volunteers for the army from military prisoners); and August Cole, a former thrashball star. Sometimes interrogation is interrupted by Locust attacks, but Loomis is adamant in the statutory order and intends to listen to the end.
Reviews
People Can Fly are excellent developers, and they coped with the task very confidently. The problem is that in a good way this task should not be set for them at all. Judgment is an extra game. At least for now, just over a year and a half after Gears of War 3 [1] . As one reviewer put it, PCF reaffirmed its fame as “nothing-changing guys”. GoW: J is no different from GoW3 (except for a couple of new enemies and additional tasks), the game is essentially a set of missions, in most cases not related to each other. The plot does not tell anything about the story of Sera or Beard, the gameplay is the same. “I advise you to buy GoW3. It’s the same, but with a good plot, which in one place will even make you shed a tear. ”
