History
Initially, since 1902 it was called Georgievsky Lane (from Moskovsky Prospekt to Sveaborgskaya Street ), due to the location in the passage of the joint-stock company of the Georgievsky soap and chemical plants. Sometimes used in the form of St. George Street . It was renamed to Reshetnikov Street on August 3, 1940 , in honor of the Russian writer F.M. Reshetnikov . In the 1940s, Vardovsky Lane and a new section crossing Syzranskaya Street were added [2] .
The name Vardovsky Lane has been known since 1906, comes from the name of the homeowner. In the 1940s it was attached to Reshetnikov Street [2] .
