Davor Kus ( Croatian Davor Kus ; born July 21, 1978 in Rijeka ) is a Croatian professional basketball player who plays for the Škrlevo club. He plays at the positions of the point guard and attacking defender . Player of the national team of Croatia .

Content
Club career
Davor Kus's basketball career began at the modest Susak club in the 1995/1996 season. Starting next season, he has already played for the Kvarner club from Rijeka . By 1999, Kus was the main point guard of the team, in the 1998/1999 season he became the leader of the Croatian championship in transfers on average per game (4.4), and in 2000 he was invited for the first time to participate in the match of all the stars of the Croatian league. Kus finished his last season in Rijeka with indicators of 16.6 points and 6.5 assists per game on average [1] .
In 2000, Kus moved to the Zibreb Zibona , with which he won three league titles and two Croatian Cups over four seasons. The Croatian season 2004/2005 he spent in Athens AEK , after which he returned to Cibona and played two more seasons for this club, having won two more championships in Croatia [1] . In the summer of 2007, Kus prematurely terminated the contract with “Cibona” and signed a two-year agreement with the Spanish “ Unicaja ” [2] . In Malaga, Cus spent one season, during which he spent 34 games in the championship of Spain, gaining an average of 8.7 points, 1.1 rebounds and 1.7 assists [3] . In August 2008, the player returned to Cibona on loan [4] and again became the champion and owner of the Croatian Cup.
Becoming a free agent, in the summer of 2009, Kus signed a two-year contract with the Italian Benetton [5] . In the 2009/2010 season, he scored an average of 11.7 points and 2.8 assists per game in the Italian Serie A [6] . In the summer of 2010, a year before the completion of the contract with Benetton, Kus left the Italian team and in October signed a contract with the Spanish Fuenlabrada [7] . On average, the Croatian team scored 8.2 points and made 2 assists per game of the championship of Spain in the 2010/2011 season [8] . In November 2011, Kus returned to Cibona [8] and helped the team win the Croatian championship in the 2011/2012 season.
In June 2015, he announced his retirement, but in a few months he replenished the modest club " Shkrelovo " [9] .
Team
In 1998, Kus played for the Croatian youth team at the UEFA European Under-22 Championship. As part of the national team, he played at the European Championships 2007 and 2009 , the 2008 Summer Olympics and the 2010 World Cup [1] .
