Burkovo is a village in the Makarovsky rural district of the Sudoverfsky rural settlement of the Rybinsk district of the Yaroslavl region [1] .

The village is located on the right bank of the Volga River ( Rybinsk Reservoir ), above the locks of the waterworks , in the depths of the bay separating the village of Balobanovo from Perebor . It lies between the shore of the Gulf and the Selikhovsky Shoesse, the motorway Excursions - Shipyard . North of Burkovo along this road is the village of Boltinskoye [2] . A yacht club is based in the village.

The village of Burkova is indicated on the general survey plan of the Rybinsk district of 1792.

As of January 1, 2007, there were 15 permanent residents in the village [3] . A post office located in the village of Sudoverfit serves 29 houses in the village of Burkovo [4] .
